Tara Holmes holds an MFA in lens-based media, and is currently a Professor at the University of Albany, leading a Conceptual Photo course. Prior to this return to academia, Tara spent 15 years as a seamstress, set designer, creative director, and visual merchandiser for high-end retailers and publications. This combined experience — both tactile and technical, in front of and behind the camera — gives Tara a uniquely complete curatorial approach to visually representing brands.

This approach has most recently manifested in Line Neutral Studio: where Tara can be found shooting emotive brand photography, fulfilling print orders, fabricating custom props, and conceptually directing her clients’ visual storytelling.
